Captain Ron and the vessel, "Miss Devin", have a cruising
range out of Santa Barbara Harbor, to Point
Conception to the northwest and Point Mugu to the southeast. We
cruise the four major Santa Barbara
channel islands. We have overnight trips with comfortable
accommodations for four. The marine life at the
channel islands is like no other along the coast. The Islands
themselves are breath taking, with 200 ft bluffs
to miles of white sand beaches. Dolphins and whales are common in
waters. Basking sharks and blue sharks also
break the water surface for veiw. Along the coast, the Santa
Barbara light house, Hope ranch area, Goleta
beach and the Univerity of Santa Barbara are great views from the
sea. Going further up the coast, following
the 101 highway with the Santa Ynez mountain range, are the
beaches of El Captain, Refugio, Gaviota, and
on past to the rarely viewed Hollister Ranch area, and see the
majastic Point Conception Light House,
seating on it's 180 foot bluff, marking the start of the Santa
Barbara channel.
